PRACTICE/WARM-UP AREAS

Our practice facility features premium Titleist ProV1 practice balls throughout. You have access to a full driving range, short game area with two greens and multiple bunkers, a wedge tee with target greens from 30100 yards, and a large putting green located just east of the first tee box.

TEE TIME

All players are required to be OFF the 1st Tee at or before their assigned Tee Time. If your Tee Time is 10:00 a.m., your group should have all played their tee shots and be driving down the fairway by 10:00 a.m.

PACE OF PLAY

At The Country Club at Castle Pines, it is expected that a 9-hole round take no more than 2 hours and 5 minutes. The total time to play an 18-hole round is expected to be 4 hours and 15 minutes or less. This includes the time it takes to drive up the hill from Hole 18. Each golf cart is equipped with a GPS that tracks pace of play and provides yardages to the Front, Middle, & Center of the green. In the event that your group falls behind pace, the GPS will communicate your position on the course and ask you to catch up. A member of the Golf Professional staff will follow-up with your group if you are unable to catch up. Groups that are unable to remain on pace may be asked to skip a hole.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

The Country Club at Castle Pines is located in an area of frequent lightning activity. The Club is equipped with a weather warning system for the safety of the Membership and their Guests. If the siren sounds one time, please take shelter immediately. Shelters can be found Hole #4, #8 (Halfway House), and #14. If you are in the area of the clubhouse, please return immediately. Two consecutive sounds of the siren mean the weather has passed and all is clear. Although the Club is equipped with a weather warning system, it is ultimately the responsibility of each golfer to be aware of changing weather conditions. If lightning is spotted and you have not heard the siren, all golfers should immediately take shelter. Frequently, lightning will develop above the course without warning.
